Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall

The seasons change year by year.

My friendships change almost as often. 

Do true friendships really exist?

Yes, no, maybe so? I don't know.

They come into my life alone and then they go 

Same old story just different people 

Will the heartache ever end?

Happiness, trust, confusion, fear 

It always starts good; always ends flat 

Just when I think a friendship will last it falls apart 

Will this pattern ever change?

Distrust, loneliness, hurt, tears

I try so hard not to get attached, but I always do 

They always get in; though, I still can't trust 

Will I ever be able to trust a friendship again?
